Wiraka is a leading cuesports specialist headquartered in Singapore, dedicated to the design, manufacture, and distribution of professional‑quality snooker, billiard, and pool equipment. Since 1980, we have focused on growing the game across Asia and worldwide by combining world‑class products with complete solutions for clubs, federations, academies, and home players.

Our history

Wiraka was founded in December 1980 with a clear mission: to promote snooker and billiards and make quality equipment more accessible to players in our region. In 1984 we opened our first overseas branch in Malaysia, and by 1985 we were already producing locally made snooker tables, helping to anchor the sport’s growth in Southeast Asia.

Recognizing the huge potential of Mainland China, Wiraka entered the market in 1994, supplying tables and accessories and helping to establish snooker clubs in multiple cities, which pushed snooker to new heights in the country. The highlight of this expansion was the establishment of Riley Wiraka Sports Equipment Ltd in Foshan in 1997, created as a world‑class manufacturing facility dedicated to producing premium snooker tables and accessories.

Tournament pedigree

From this manufacturing base, Wiraka developed the M1 snooker table, engineered to meet the highest standards of international play. The Wiraka M1 has been selected as the official table for all IBSF and ACBS tournaments, multiple SEA Games (including Brunei, Malaysia, and Manila editions), the World Snooker Games in 2001 and 2009, the 2006 Asian Games, and the Asian Indoor Games from 2007 onwards.

Beyond these events, Wiraka tables and equipment have featured at major Asian championships and China‑based tournaments, including CBSA team snooker championships, Chinese pool and 9‑ball championships, and other top‑level events listed in our events portfolio. Our ongoing presence at these competitions reinforces Wiraka’s status as a trusted partner for organizers and elite players throughout Asia.

Partnership with WCBS and global events

Wiraka is proud to support the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) as an official snooker table partner at its multi‑discipline championships. For the 2nd WCBS Championship in Kielce, Poland in 2024, Wiraka was appointed the exclusive snooker table partner alongside other leading global brands in carom, pool, and table cloth.

Our collaboration with WCBS reflects a shared commitment to promoting billiards sports worldwide, uniting different disciplines under one banner, and delivering a consistent, professional playing experience for athletes from every continent. This same commitment also extends to key Asian and China‑hosted events where WCBS, continental federations, and national bodies work together to elevate cuesports on the international stage.

Today, Wiraka positions itself as a one‑stop cuesports center. We provide a complete range of snooker, billiard, and pool tables, together with high‑performance cloth, cushions, cues, balls, and accessories, backed by consultation, installation, and long‑term maintenance services.

We support customers at every level: from designing and fitting out commercial clubs and academies, to preparing venues for international tournaments, to helping homeowners choose and install their first table. Our regional network of branches, academies, and our dedicated factory in China allows us to deliver consistent quality and responsive after‑sales service across multiple markets.
