March 19, 2021 COVID-19 Scrambles Production for Materials Prices & Freight Shipping: Air and Ocean Freight Delays, Rates & Cost Increases
Dear Valued Customers,
Due to the current situation, Coronavirus (COVID-19) International shipping by Sea/Airfreight/Courier Services may be affected by delivery delays and further restrictions as The international government introduced the drastic measure.
The pandemic had bought cargo supply chains around the world to a standstill due to which the containers remained stuck in several countries owing to the lockdowns. This widened the gap between demand and supply (of imported cargo) which ultimately had to be filled by price equalize by 100% to 300% increased.
The prices of construction materials have risen and imported material too for our finished products.
We will want to make up time, so again costs increase and labour constraints. Customers’ orders for Snooker/Pool Tables were already well behind schedule in a lot of cases, so the situation continues to exacerbate.
